Availability of material

At certain periods material in collections may unavailable due to conservation and other factors.

The following material is known to be unavailable for the following periods:

Sections of the archives of the Church Missionary Society have been temporarily withdrawn by the CMS Archivist in Oxford, and are currently unavailable for research at Special Collections.

These comprise:

3. Mid Africa Ministry (MAM)

Ruanda Council minutes and agenda papers MAM/C (1926-1950)

Sections of the archives of the Church Missionary Society are sometimes unavailable for research because of an ongoing and long term programme of microfilming led by the micropublisher, Adam Matthew Publications.

The following CMS material is not currently available.  Expected return c July 2012.

A limited number of subject-specific collections are based at The Shakespeare Institute Library at Stratford-on Avon. These relate to early modern theatre and its heritage.
